With reference to the last paragraph of my Despatch No 32 of the 8th August, upon the subject of the Light houses to be erected in the straits of Fuca, I have now the honor to transmit to Your Grace, the copy of a letter from theManuscript imagethe Colonial Surveyor describing the height of the Towers, and the length of the Lightning conductors that will be required.
