to you through one of our County Members but that Gentleman informed

kind assistance to procure for him the Situation of Collector of
Customs or Post Master at
Victoria Vancouvers Island, North America.
The Memorial was signed by eight very respectable Gentlemen well

Talented Man, who is capable of
rendering valuable assistance to the
Government of this Country, in assisting the management of the Colony
