Sir,
I have received and have had under my consideration three Acts passed by the Legislature of Vancouvers Island in the month of August 1858 and transmitted to me in your Despatch noted in the Margin
No. 14.
I have reported to Her Majesty in Coucil my opinion that the said Act might be left to their operation, and I have the honor to transmit to you herewith an Order of Her Majesty in Council, dated the 29th July last approving that Report.
