I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to send you herewith for the information of Her Majesty's Secretary of State for the Colonies, copies of a letter from Rear Admiral Sir R. Baynes, dated the 7th April last, No 54, and of its enclosure relative to the joint Military occupation of the Island of San Juan with the Troops of the United States by a party of Royal Marines.
