I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 1st August Ins. for leaving to their operation eight Acts
Schedule of Acts
No: 8. To authorize the Macadamizing of Streets.
9. To provide for the passage of an Act to authorize the sale of wines.
10. To provide for the resignation &c of seats in the house of Assembly.
11. To make provision for the registration of Voters &c.
12. To increase the number of representatives in the house of Assembly.
13. To remove doubts as to the interest of money.
14. For the protection of the Wooden Bridges &c.
15. To amend the law relating to the Representation.
passed in Vancouver's Island No: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
