With reference to your despatch No. 52 of the 5th November last, I have to acquaint you that The Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have informed me that it is their wish that the Ground, Buildings &c, at Esquimalt, purchased from the North American Boundary Commission should, when no longer required forManuscript imagefor the use of the surveying party under Colonel Hawkins, be transferred to their Lordships for Naval purposes, and I have to instruct you, in compliance with their Lordships desire, to transfer this property accordingly.
