Requisition having been made upon me for the sum of One Thousand Pounds (£1000) to meet payments due to the detachment of Royal Marines serving on the Island of San Juan, I have the honor to acquaint your Grace that I have authorized the Treasurer to procure that sum by Bills on Her Majestys PaymasterGeneralManuscript image General and I have to request your Grace will obtain the necessary authority from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury for the Bills presented on this account to be paid when they become due.
