With reference to my Letter of the 21st Ultimo, I am directed by Earl Russell to state to you, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, that it appears from a letter which has been received at the Admiralty from Rear Admiral Maitland dated the 9th of July,thatManuscript image that the orders for the withdrawal of the United States Troops upon San Juan have been revoked.
