I have the honor of transmitting herewith a Copy of the "Bankruptcy Act 1862", which completes the series of measures passed during the last session of the Legislature of this Colony as enumerated in my Despatch No 9, of the11th FebruaryManuscript image 11th February last.
2. The necessary report from the Attorney General explaining the Act is also herewith transmitted.

Schedule F is certainly very carelessly adapted from the English Act. And this creates a suspicion that there may be carelessness elsewhere. But it is hopeless to attempt a suspension of such an Act as this.
It ought however to be referred to the Privy Council with refce to the 31st clause to wh I shd think the Council wd object.
