Referring to your Despatch No 116 of the 30 August last, calling my attention to the Account of Vancouver Island Colony with the Agents General being overdrawn, I have the honor to acquaint Your Grace that on the 6th October,theManuscript image the sum of One Hundred pounds (£100) was remitted to the Agents General, and that by this Mail a further sum of Five Hundred pounds (£500) will be forwarded, which will leave a Balance in favor of the Colony.
