I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 60 of the 30th of December forwarding several Acts passed by the Legislature of Vancouver Island in 1862.
I observe that the Attorney General's remarks, which I have received with the Duplicate despatch, relate only to five of the Acts which you have transmittedManuscript image whilst those of which a schedule is annexed are unnoticed by the Attorney General, and I shall therefore delay any action on these last mentioned Acts until I shall receive the report of the Attorney General upon them.
