Referring to my Predecessor's Despatches No 1 dated 10th February 1864 and No 2 dated 10th February 1864, and to your Despatch No 1 dated 15th April 1864, I have the honor to state that I have not hitherto received advices of any steps being taken for the shipment of any of the lighthouse stores therein applied for.
I am under the necessity of troubling you with this communicationinasmuchManuscript image inasmuch as some of these stores are very urgently required.

In April last the Board of Trade offered to procure & ship the stores for the Lighthouses & were informed that this Dept wd, on being apprized of the amount of their Cost, instruct the Agents to repay it. We have heard nothing further from the Bd. of Trade. Send them a Copy of this Desp?
