I think there is a line of telegraph between San Francisco, Washington, New York & Boston. From Boston we know there is a line to Halifax. As the line is shortly to extend to V.C. Isld a communication by telegraph will be established, passing however through American Territory, between our Eastern & Western possessions in North America.
It might be advisable to apprize the B.N.A. Governors of the fact stated in this Letter?

I think so. Draft up a short despatch to them, including B. Columbia & Vancouver.
