I have the honor to request that you will be pleased to move the Right Honourable Her Majesty's principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, to issue the requisite authority to the Crown Agents for the Colonies, for the payment periodically to my Agents Messrs Woodhead & Co of 44 Charing Cross, of the Half Salary due to me while on leave of absence from the Colony of Vancouver's Island, commencingonManuscript image on and from the 15th May 1864.
