Sir,
I have the honor to transmit a Bill on the Bank of British North America, London, for Three Thousand Pounds (£3000) at sixty days sight in favour of the Crown Agents for the Colonies to meet the overdraft referred to in your Despatch No 8 dated 23rd February 1865, and the half yearly payment of Two ThousandPoundsManuscript image Pounds for interest and sinking fund on account of the Vancouver Island Road and Harbour Loan, which will fall due on the 15th July 1865.
In reference to the latter portion of your Despatch above quoted I beg to state that no further Bills have been drawn upon the Crown Agents.
