Sir
I have the honor to transmit a printed copy of my speech on
proroguing the Legislature of this Colony on the 7th instant.
The Session lasted for the unreasonable period of 299 days having met
for the transaction of business on the 12th September1864 1864 and was
prorogued on the 7th July 1865.
The previous Session extended over a period of 310 days.
