I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council, of the 9th inst, leaving to their operation twelve Acts passed in Vancouver Island in June & July, 1864, Nos: 93 to 95 and 98 to 106; and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
