I have had under my consideration your despatch No. 99, of the 30th November last, and, under the circumstances reported by you, I have to confirm the Suspension of Mr. Richard Golledge from the Office of Acting Gold Commissioner.
I have also receivedyourManuscript image your Despatch No. 112, of the 24th of December, and I have to approve the appointment of Colonel Foster, Stipendiary Magistrate at Sooke, to perform the duties of Gold Commissioner, in connection with those he now holds, but without any increase of Salary.
