Sir,
I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a correspondence
between Sir Edmund Head, this Office and Governor Seymour respecting the
introduction of Spirituous Liquors among the Indians on the Peace River
and in the Athabasca District.
I should be glad to learn whether you can suggest any measures that
mightproperly
properly be taken with the view of checking the evil.
