I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a letter from Mr. Samuel Barfield requesting, on behalf of Messrs Steward Meldrum and Company, and of Mr. MacKean, a grant of certain Mineral lands on the North West Coast of Vancouver Island.
I have to requestthatManuscript image that you will furnish me with a report upon the subject.
