With reference to your despatch No. 86 of the 6th November, I have the honor to state that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have acquainted me that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay the Bill for £1,500. drawn by theTreasurerManuscript image Treasurer of Vancouver Island on your authority for the Service of the Colony.
