According to this document, sent from the Hudson's Bay Company in 1846, the rosalindRosalind was a Brig that was chartered by Government at £250. stirling a month. On June 3rd, presumably in 1846, it delivered a Cargo of Coals, which was landed there for the use of Her Majesty's Steam Vessel cormorantCormorant.
