Strawberry Bay
Strawberry Bay rests on the western shore of Cypress Island, which is in the Rosario Strait; it is part of the San Juan Islands group. It, as with Strawberry Island, was given its European name by Vancouver on June 6, 1792, in reference, presumably, to the abundance of wild strawberry that grew in the area.1
