Sir,
My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty having received a letter dated the 25th Ultimo 1 from Secretary Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton respecting the establishment of a Court of Vice Admiralty in the Colony of British Columbia, I am commanded by my Lords to acquaint you for the information of Sir Edward Lytton that they have this day addressed a Memorial to Her Majesty in Council for the powers necessary to enable them to establish this Court.
