I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to send you herewith, for the information of Secretary Sir E. Bulwer Lytton, a Copy of a Letter from Rear Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, dated the 27 Octr, No. 369, reporting his intention to dispatch Her Majesty's Ship Tribune from China to Vancouver's Island with 150 Supernumerary Royal Marines on board.

We have no official correspondence on this subject. The Mail to B. Columbia is despatched today should it be thought necessary to inform the Govr of the intention to send the "Tribune" to Van Couver's Island.
