Sir,
Having laid before My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of the 17th Instant, 1 transmitting the Queens letter Patent empowering their Lordships to establish a Court of Vice Admiralty in British Columbia, and requesting that the cost of these letters 2 (twenty six pounds and six shillings) may be repaid to the Chief Clerk of the Colonial Department; I am commanded by their Lordships to acquaint you for the information of Secretary Sir E.B. Lytton, that the necessary orders have been issued to the Solicitor of their office to carry that arrangement into effect.
