I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your Despatch of the 19th November 1858, No 45 and, with reference thereto, I have duly communicated to Colonel Moody the information therein contained respectingManuscript imagerespecting the quarterly issue to his Agents Messrs. Cox and Co. of his pay as Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works in British Columbia; and also that an advance of 120 Days pay has been made to him and to the other Officers of the Expedition.
