I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your Despatch of the 16 December last No. 56 acquainting me that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have authorised the PayManuscript imagePay Master General to accept and pay a Bill for Forty Pounds (£40.0.0) drawn by Captain Parsons R.E. on account of the Royal Engineers proceeding to British Columbia under his charge.
