In compliance with the instructions contained in your Despatch of the 17th December last No 57, I have duly acquainted Captain Grant R.E. that you have sanctioned an additional payment of the Sum of Fifty pounds into the hands of his AgentsManuscript imageAgents Messrs Cox and Company, in consideration of the circumstances which he has represented to you, to defray the expense of removing his family to British Columbia.
