Sir,
I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to transmit to you, for the information of Sir E.B. Lytton, the enclosed Copy of a Letter, addressed to the Paymaster General, by the Governor of British Columbia, advising Bills to the amount of £1.250, on account of the Requisitions of the Officer commanding the Troops in that Colony; and I am to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to accept and pay these Bills, charging the same, for the present, toManuscript imageto the Treasury Chest Account.
