I have the honor to request that you will acquaint
Captain Gosset
that Sixty seven pounds (£67) is due from him to the Naval Department on
account of that sum's having been paid by the Admiralty for his passage
from Ceylon to
Southampton in
May 1858.
As it is very inconvenient that claims of this kind should remain
outstanding, I have to request that
Captain Gosset will forthwith pay
the above mentioned sum into the Treasury Chest, and that you will
report the same to me in order that the necessary steps may be taken to
discharge this debt to the Naval Department.
