I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 156 of the 23rd of May last respecting the System of Land Sales and Mining Licenses.
I have little doubt that the Despatch from this Office No 62 of the 7th of May last will have modifiedyourManuscript image your views and practice as to deferred payments. On this subject I can do no more than express my concurrence in the views entertained by my Predecessor.
