I have the honor to transmit herewith copy of a Requisition made by the Treasurer for 12 Cash books to be sent out viĆ¢ Panama with the least delay, and I trust your Grace will be good enough to issue instructions for the booksManuscript imagebooks in question to be supplied as requested.

Authorize the Agents Genl: to procure & send out the Cash Books? Though the expense will be trifling it will I fear be requisite to write in the first instance to the Treasury, unless funds have been provided which can be ascertained by private enquiry?
