Sir,
I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the recent Session of the Legislature of this Colony, entitled; No. 25. An OrdinancetoManuscript image to facilitate the creation of Ports of Entry in British Columbia.
2. It has been found very inconvenient to compel every ship trading with the coast of British Columbia to enter and clear at New Westminster as is required under my Predecessor's Proclamation dated 5th March 1859. The enclosed Ordinance was laid before the LegislativeCouncilManuscript image Council by my direction.
