I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two
               plain Copies of an Ordinance of the recent Session of the
               Legislature of this Colony, entitled;

               No. 25.  An Ordinance
to
 to facilitate the creation of
               Ports of Entry in
British Columbia.

               2. It has been found very inconvenient to compel every
               ship trading with the coast of
British Columbia to enter and
               clear at
New Westminster as is required under my Predecessor's
               Proclamation dated
5th March 1859. The enclosed Ordinance
               was laid before the Legislative
Council
 Council by my direction.
