Sir,
I have had the honor to receive your despatch No. 62 of 3rd September, in which you desire me to convey to the Authorities who were instrumental in the foundationofManuscript image of the Indian School at St Mary's, your appreciation of the Services they have thus rendered to the Colony.
2. I enclose a copy of the letter which I have received from the Roman Catholic Bishop in reply to the communication which I addressed to him in obedience to your instructions.
