With reference to previous correspondence, I have the honor to forward copy of a Resolution passed by the Legislative Council on the subject of Union with the Dominion of Canada.DesiringManuscript image Desiring on the whole to see the project carried out I cannot be blind to the great difficulties which obstruct it's progress. I enclose copy of the paragraphs on the subject which appeared in the speech, with which I opened the Legislative Council, and in that with which I closed it.
