Sir,
I have to call your attention to the letter which was addressed
to you from this Department on the 28th of June 1866, requesting you
to favor Mr. Secretary Cardwell with your opinion with respect to the
British Columbia Ordinance No. 10of

conferring certain privileges on the Williams Creek Bed Rock Flume
Company," and especially as regards the exclusive right of way
conferred by it upon a particular Mining Company.
