My Lord,
With reference to my despatch No. 14 of the 4th February, I have the honor to transmit Copy of a paper containing the opinions of certainMembersManuscript image Members of the Legislative Council and some Merchants of Victoria with relation to a Treaty of Commercial Reciprocity with the United States of America.
2. The paper I enclose was handed to me by the Senior Member for Victoria on the occasion of my receiving a numerous Deputation on the subject.
