I transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Board of Admiralty
               requesting that the Naval Vote may be relieved of the charge imposed
               upon it by the employment on board the "
Sparrowhawk" of an interpreter
               when that Vessel was sent to visit the Northern Part of 
Vancouvers
                  Islandto
 to make enquiries respecting murders which had been committed by
               the Indians.
               
               I have to instruct you to remit the amount to the Crown Agents for
               payment to the Admiralty.
