I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 102 of the 5th August forwarding copies of the General order which has been issued as to the scale of Fees and the cost of Litigation in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

With reference to the third section of the general order, I transmit to you for the information of the Chief Justice, a copy of the recent Act of Parliament (33 and 34 Vic. Cap: 38) relating to the remuneration of Attorneys and Solicitors.
