With reference to my Confidential Despatch of the 24th of August last, I have now to transmit to you the Copy of a further letter with its enclosures from the Foreign Office from which you will learn that the United States Government have decided not to include San Juan in the 9th Census of their Dominions.
I have expressed to the Foreign Office the satisfaction with which I have received this information.
