Rear Admiral Hornby has been informed that Mr Richard Blanshard the recently appointed Governor of Vancouvers Island will leave England by the September Packet, and he has been directed to order one of Her Majesty's Ships, if possible, to be at Panama on Mr Blanshards arrival to convey himtoManuscript image to Vancouvers Island, and I am to request that you will inform Earl Grey of the same.
