accompanying Copy of a Despatch from Mr Adams, Her Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires in Peru, stating the reason why he has not been yet able to afford to British Subjects wishing to settle in Vancouver's Island,Manuscript image Island, the assistance recommended in the letter from the Hudson's Bay Company to the Colonial Office of the 31st of March 1849.
