I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to state for the information of Secretary Sir John Pakington that Rear Admiral Moresby has reported that he has ordered Her Majesty's Ship Thetis to remain at Vancouver's Island until the latter end of January next.

The information here given will enable Sir J. Pakington to answer the Governor of Van Couver's Island as I proposed in a minute written yesterday.
