I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Mr Merivale's letter of the 29th Ulto, addressed to Mr Barclay, Secretary of the Hudson's Bay Company, transmitting for the information of the Directors an Extract of a Report made to Vice Admiral Moresby by the Captain of Her Majesty's Ship "Thetis," relative to the proceedings of that vessel at Queen Charlotte's and Vancouver's Islands; and I have to express the thanks of the Governor and Committee for this commmunication.
