I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Mr Peel's letter of the 18th Instant transmitting, by your Grace's direction, an Extract of a letter from Rear Admiral Moresby dated the 17th December 1852, at Valparaiso, for which I beg to return you the thanks of the Governor and Committee.
I beg to observe at the same time, that there is no Officer of the name of Nihill in the service of the Hudson's Bay Company.
