I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 6 of the 27th February last.
I referred for the consideration of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, that portion of Your Despatch relative to the creation of Store Houses in Esquimault Harbour, for the use of the Navy, and I enclose a copyofManuscript image of the reply which has been received from their Lordship's Board, by which you will perceive that it is not deemed expedient to adopt your suggestion on this matter.
