I have laid before the Earl of Clarendon your Letter of the 22nd instant inclosing the Draft of a Despatch which Mr Secretary Labouchere proposed to address to the Governor of Vancouver's Island instructing him as to the course to be pursued in the event of an immigration of the Mormons from the Territory of Utah into British Territory on the North WestCoastManuscript image Coast of America; and I am directed by His Lordship to request that you will inform Mr Labouchere that he concurs in the terms of the proposed despatch to Governor Douglas.
