Lytton forwards to Douglas a request from the Admiralty for land in Esquimalt for naval purposes.

Sir,
I transmit herewith the copy of a letter from the Admiralty requesting that the portion of Land at Esquimalt marked 67 on the enclosed plan may be reserved for Naval purposes, and I have to instruct you to comply with their Lordships' wishes in this respect.
